with corporate partners to maintain design schedules for Farley’s Fukushima DCPs
(Design Change Proposals) in Primavera (P6). Received status updates
from third party contractors and incorporated them into these schedules.
Worked
with I&C, Mechanical and Civil Planners to create implementation
schedules for the above mentioned DCPs using Primavera (P6) and Maximo.
Created Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) as needed and Resource loaded these
schedules with man-hours. Coordinated with Work Week Management in
order to schedule this work according to the T-Week process requirements.
Hired onsite contractors to implement this work while ensuring SNC and APCO
(Alabama Power Company) participation when needed. Researched circumstances
that would affect these schedules (Equipment outages, nuclear fuel delivery,
etc.) and mitigated against them. Worked with procurement to ensure
parts arrived in a timely manner. Confirmed schedule aligned with Cost Worked
with Farley and Corporate Cost Analysts to ensure cost aligned with
schedule. Mentored Cost Analysts in scheduling using P6.

on site in Duke Energy’s Nuclear Development (ND) group. Maintained the
ND project schedules for the proposed Lee Nuclear Station using Primavera
(P6). Employed Critical Path Method (CPM) in managing these
schedules. Established and maintained the project Work Breakdown
Structures (WBS) for these projects, established new project nodes
(schedules) and obtained schedule updates from NPD teammates.
Established and maintained global, enterprise and project schedule
codes. Added new activities with appropriate codes and logically tied
these activities to establish predecessor and successor relationships.
Integrated MS Project schedules from contractors into Duke’s P6 schedules.
Generated reports based on the above-mentioned codes (Six month look-ahead,
organizational reports, etc.) with new and established filters.
Presented a three-month look-ahead schedule to management monthly. Used
Microsoft Visio and PowerPoint to maintain project timelines (High-Level,
Permitting, and a 16 foot timeline). Perform necessary schedule back-ups by
exporting .XER files. Maintained
all three NPD Collaboration sharepoints. Created new document
libraries, lists and established the RSS feeds for the sites. Created various
sharepoints for groups internal and external to Duke Energy. Managed
permissions and provided oversight to ensure documents were stored
properly. Created new workflows to improve Site Specific Engineering
(SSE) reviews. Worked to ensure those reviews were completed and
transmitted back to Duke Energy subcontractors on time. Tracked performance on various measures across several Excel spreadsheets.
Produced graphs and charts to show this performance. Researched topics and searched for documents as

Experts (SMEs), tracked responses to the NRC to monitor performance on multiple excel
spreadsheets, produced graphs and charts to show this performance, copy
edited chapters in the Combined Operation and License Application (COLA),
created links in spreadsheets to quickly access project documents, created and maintained a new file structure for NPD,
produced specially painted CD/DVD disks,
